The mission for our organization "Hands Of Hope" is to grow a foundation towards helping the homeless and people in need. Since 2025 there has been a 16% increase on people who are experiencing homelessness in the state of Delaware. Since it is not easy for them to get back on their feet, we want to help them build their confidence, help supply them with necessities and show them that they are not alone. It is also an organization that students will be involved in, we want to bring a closer bond between the students of Delaware State University. Our way to help build a bond towards the students will be by doing group events that help build chemistry and involves everyone to communicate without isolating among groups or within themselves. Going Into the second year, we have faced issues head on from events where people were split into their own groups leaving the freshmen to themselves and brought them anxiety to meet new people, causing the freshmen to not leave their dorms and miss out on amazing opportunities that the campus has to offer. Our plan is to prevent that issue and include everyone to eliminate social anxiety.

Motto: “ Bridging the gap between men and mental health”

The mission of the org is to combat the stigma of men and mental health. There are a lot of men in the DSU community who suffer in silence. I want this org to be a safe space for the men of DSU to express themselves. I plant to create events that openly talk about mental health and also give them a place to form community with other members.
