Delaware State University's Safe Space Coalition will present the 5th Annual Sexual Assault Prevention Conference -- Your Voice, Your Safety: Empowering Students Against Dating & Domestic Violence -- on Friday, April 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Martin Luther King Jr. Student Center Parlors. CEUs will be available.
The event will feature Roxanne Shanté, a pioneering hip-hop icon, cultural historian, and the first solo female MC to receive the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.

Screenings and information will include cholesterol, blood pressure, diabetes, men’s and women’s health, behavioral health, dental health, sexual health and nutrition.
The event will also feature a DJ, food trucks and giveaways.

BE A HERO: DONATE BLOOD AT THE DSU RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE

The DSU Red Cross Club is partnering with Bio Club, NMDP and NPHC to host an upcoming blood drive with the American Red Cross. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to participate and help save lives through blood donation.
Date: Tuesday, March 24
Time: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Location: Martin Luther King Jr. Student Center Parlors
Blood donations are critically needed, and each donation has the potential to help multiple patients in need. To thank donors for their generosity, participants will receive a $15 e-gift card, a chance to win a $100 gift card and free Good Molecules products while supplies last.

Delaware State University will host Research Day on Wednesday, April 15, featuring the theme “From Insight to Impact: Research That Changes Tomorrow.”
